Each of Berlin’s 12 boroughs has a borough assembly or BVV. The BVV is jointly responsible for the autonomous administration and governing of the boroughs.
Many of the issues discussed by the councillors elected to the BVV determine the quality of everyday life in the various boroughs of the city.
Most BVV meetings are open to the public. Some boroughs offer a live streaming of the event. You can also attend public sessions if you wish. Further information is available from your borough’s BVV.
